Nightfalling is the first new music from CrusaderBeach since 2016 and this much anticipated release marks a welcome return to the neo-classical / new age piano music scene by Adrian Webster, the UK-based composer behind CrusaderBeach.
This brand new, original solo piano piece, likened to Erik Satie meets Yiruma, delights with a slow-paced, hauntingly-beautiful melody that lingers in the memory, and as the title suggests, evokes the wistful serenity of twilight as day drifts into night.
Featuring lush, intimate classical piano tones and resonances, this simple yet considered instrumental stirs introspective emotions with its gentle, pensive refrain and Gnossienne-style flourishes.

Adrian: “I’ve long admired the melancholy beauty in Satie’s work and with my piece, Nightfalling, I wanted to capture that delicate, nostalgic sentiment but in my own contemporary compositional style.”
Nightfalling also lends itself to today’s playlist culture, especially the genre of piano music for study, relaxation or sleep. The meditative quality of the song is ideal background music for listeners to focus or relax. The reflective nature of this single is a foretaste to a new CrusaderBeach solo piano album coming later in the year which will feature a mix of ambient compositions and heart-warming melodies.
Adrian: “I’m excited to share this new music with you. I've purposefully taken my time to explore new avenues with my compositions and I hope you love listening to the results as much as I've enjoyed creating them.”
